Getting Started
How do I download Cue Up?
Cue Up will be available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store when it launches in Sheffield. Join the waiting list to be notified as soon as the app is available for download.
How do I create a player profile?
When you first open Cue Up, you'll be guided through creating your profile. You'll set up your name, add a photo, choose your preferred sports (pool, snooker, darts or all three) and set your skill level.
Can I change my sport preferences later?
Yes. You can update your sport preferences and skill levels at any time from your profile settings in the app.
Is Cue Up free to use?
Yes — the core Cue Up app is free. You can search venues, book tables and find players for free. Cue Up Premium (£14.99/month with a 5-day free trial) gives you extra benefits like no booking fees, priority booking and advanced matching.
Finding Venues & Booking
How do I find a venue near me?
Open the Cue Up app and use the venue search. You'll see nearby pool, snooker and darts venues based on your location. Filter by sport, distance, price and opening hours.
How do I book a table or oche?
Select a venue, choose an available table or oche, pick your time slot and confirm. Payment is taken securely through the app. You'll receive an instant booking confirmation with all the details.
Can I cancel a booking?
Yes. You can cancel a booking through the app. Each venue sets its own cancellation policy, which will be clearly displayed before you book. Refunds are handled through the app's payment system.
How do I check in at the venue?
When you arrive, open your booking in the Cue Up app and scan the QR code at the venue. The venue will be notified you're here and your table or oche will be ready.
Payments & Premium
What payment methods are accepted?
Cue Up accepts card payments and Apple Pay. All payments are processed securely — we never store your full card details.
How does Cue Up Premium work?
Cue Up Premium costs £14.99 per month with a 5-day free trial. Benefits include no booking fees, priority table booking, advanced opponent matching, early access to leagues and tournaments, and a Premium profile badge. You can cancel at any time.
How do I cancel my Premium subscription?
You can cancel your Premium subscription at any time through the Cue Up app or your app store account settings (Apple App Store or Google Play Store). If you cancel during the free trial, you won't be charged.
How do I manage my subscription?
Your Cue Up Premium subscription is managed through the app. Go to your profile settings to view your subscription status, payment history and manage your membership. Subscriptions are processed through Apple or Google.
Account & Security
Is my payment information secure?
Yes. All payments are processed through Apple or Google's secure payment infrastructure — the same systems used by millions of apps. Your payment details are encrypted and never stored by Cue Up.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. You can request account deletion through the app's settings. Once deleted, your profile, playing history and personal data will be permanently removed.
What data does Cue Up collect?
We collect only the information needed to provide the app's features — your name, email, sport preferences, location (for venue search), booking history and payment details (processed securely by Apple/Google). See our Privacy Policy for full details.
